Breckenridge In Town Homes

Breckenridge from Main to High Street is generally known as the historical residential area of the town of Breckenridge since its establishment in 1859. Homes built in the 19th Century Victorian style can be found from Lincoln to Jefferson, with a few outliers. What we consider 'in-town' is also all the homes from which one can easily walk to a grocery store and get onto the gondola or a ski lift without getting in a car. So that expands the in-town neighborhood to everthing on the east side of Main Street from French Street (nearly to City Market) south to Boreas Pass Road. On the west side of Main, along the Blue River and east of Park Avenue is mostly commercial property and these few properties are not included but you can search on our main homepage (click the logo top left) - www.RealEstateSummitCounty.com for those and get all the active, pending and sold listings. You can use the market statistics page to search any subdivision and get the detailed charts of market data. So see infomation about what's further west, including the west side of Park Avenue, use the neighborhood filter for the slopeside neighborhood. Shock Hill is its own neighborhood, as well.

What Types of In-Town Property is Available

In addition to commerical property, the in-town neighborhood has many single-familiy homes but all some condo complexes built from the inception of the ski resort through the 80s. Since then more innovative duplex, townhomes and other multi-family homes have been developed. In the historic district new and infil homes are require to meet regulations that keep the town's historic status and compliment the existing properties and don't pretent to be historic. A nice balancing act.
